Hannah Fox is a Washington, D.C., and New York-based freelance photographer. Her work ranges from street photography to portraits to documentary story telling to corporate work. She uses natural and studio lighting to create artistic compositions with meaningful attention to detail and color. As a graduate of the certificate program in Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism at the International Center of Photography, she is currently expanding her projects and available for journalistic assignments.
Hannah's passion for photography began in the darkroom as a teenager in Washington DC. At Pitzer College in California she studied photography as well as video production. After graduating she entered an intensive residency program in cinematography at Maine Photographic Workshops and then took a job with New Voyage Communications in Washington, DC. She also started work as a freelance videographer for various private and corporate clients. Wanting to focus primarily on photography, however, she subsequently moved to Philadelphia to enroll in classes at The University of the Arts.
